A fundamental aspect of self-awareness involves "Recognition". Recognizing both the strengths and weaknesses within oneself and others. Imperfection is inherent to humanity, yet embracing and acknowledging it opens doors to growth and resilience.
It's crucial to listen, acknowledge, and learn from mistakes and pain caused, fostering a foundation for reflection and improvement. Equally important is celebrating successes, fostering self-recognition and the positive impact created, both personally and for others.
Each artwork is delicately handcrafted using a mixed media approach, combining various mediums such as acrylic and watercolour, along with hand-drawn lines and textures sourced from different photographs. These elements add depth, texture, and a personal touch to each piece, making it truly unique.
Limited-edition motifs, rendered in acrylic paint, enhance the layered composition, ensuring a unique visual experience. The artworks are presented in a digital 70cm x 100cm format, meticulously preserving colours, depth, and sharpness, blurring the line between print and painting.
Carefully selected colour combinations cater to different themes, reflecting the artist's vision and audience input. Printed on Fine Art Freja paper (265 g) to enhance colour vibrancy and durability, each print bears Alan Pedersen's signature, with only 300 prints available per edition.
