"On The Beach" is an abstract, hand-drawn and crafted art piece by Alan Pedersen under SOAL Studio, inspired by the varied coastline, ocean, and sea. The coastline tells the tales of many and few—tales of beauty, horror, joy, and survival. Tales of forgotten species, ancient worlds, and the true forces of nature. From the most precious glimmers to the absolutely fundamental elements, from the tiniest to the colossal existings of the oceans, in every colour imaginable. All of these elements lay side by side, as if meant to be, in perfect balance. One cannot exist without the other.
It may sound exaggerated, and perhaps it is. But take a stroll along the beach or the coastline. If you look, listen, and sense carefully, maybe you'll find one or two of these tales right in front of you. Just maybe... like spirits around you... just maybe... right there... on the beach.
