This art piece is a creative collaboration between the art nouveau style of William Morris and the biological illustrations of naturalist Maria Sibylla Merian. Combining these styles results in a beautiful and compelling piece rich in colours, with elements and colours offering a fine balance. For instance, the red tones of the ibis contrasted with the green hues of Isaphan. This brilliant print will captivate viewers and evoke curiosity.
The print incorporates elements from William Morris'(1834 –1896), 'Fruit Pattern' (1862) & 'Ispahan' (1888), and Merian's 'Scarlet Ibis with an Egg' (1699–1700).
Each print is carefully crafted and printed on Fine Art Freja paper (265 g) to ensure the highest quality and colour fidelity.
